Ever since I worked as a medical secretary extremely many moons ago I have had quite a low confidence in doctors.Apart from them being good in partying, always bringing 80% booze, I have always thought that self-medicating is a good thing. After all, nobody knows my body better than I.
But trying to get that tube out of my hand tonight might not have been the best idea I ever had. Hurt like a MF and didn't accomplish the goal. Tube still in there, but now display two plasters after trying to open the vein myself with a razor.

oh my goodness, are you insane?!!! I too have little faith in doctors and know that the internet can help me acheive much successful self-medication, but not to the point of cutting myself with a razor blade! Most people putting razor blades to their veins are trying to accomplish something else.

Felt wrong to bother a doctor with such a small problem.
