New, fresh and shiny. Dubai does not have a history, at least not in terms of buildings. They are currently building 5 artificial islands, where they plan 30 5-star hotels only in one island. The current bank crisis is putting a damper on the construction though.
And for your educational benefit The Arab Emirates consists of 7 emirates, whereof Abu Dhabi and Dubai are the most famous. The other 5 ones nobody can remember the names of. Except for maybe those who live there.
