I am so irritated. I was out this afternoon with doggie, and due to construction work we were away from water for a longer time than planned in 35°C+. Doggie was panting and walking slower and slower, and I almost panicked.
There I was with a dog that wasn't mine, and who is nine years old, was I about to give her a heart attack?
So I stopped at a shop called Nordsee at the main station here in Zürich to ask nicely if I could have some water for my dog. First, they ignored me, even though it wasn't many customers there, then they gave me a no. A no to give a panting dog water.
It doesn't matter how fond I am of seefood, I will NEVER NEVER NEVER shop there.

wow, that's pretty crappy, did they give you a reason?
I'd write a complaint, they'll probably say you could have gone to one of the many free drinking fountains in the HB ;), but it's crapola customer service nevertheless - Swiss standard though it often seems

Nope, no reason, only "we cannot do that". And I had tried the fountain just outside, but it was too high for doggie.
We went to Central where she got to drink and a good bath, sinking her whole body into the water, very clear that she was enjoying it immensely.
