Source of information
My source of Swiss info comes from 20 minuten, the free newspaper. And according to todays issue slim and healthy people cost more than smokers and overweight people. Ha! I knew it. Freeloaders.

and I'd like to emphasize: "Because of differences in life expectancy, however, lifetime health expenditure was highest among healthy-living people and lowest for smokers."
Healthy-living people = losers!

I dont get how healthy people cost more if they pay more.
I think this only works in Switzerland since here a lot of fat people and smokers dont pay health insurance anyway
Healthy people live longer, hence total lifetime healthcare cost is higher. Didn't you know that health insurance is compulsory in Switzerland?
