An expensive lift
Today we officially formed the building association, consisting of the owners of the 4 flats in the building. I can see that we will have very few problems getting along. There is a real estate company that will maintain everything, and all we have to do is to take decisions. And pay of course.
The most shocking thing today was that a lift requires 6 inspections every year in Switzerland, despite the fact that it is a new lift! 6 inspections! That is just ridiculous. And guess who has to pay for it?
I think I might have to charge all my visitors a lift fee...

wow 6 times a year! I've seen those inspection dates stamped onto a panel in a lift, but they were never that often. At least you know its unlikely your lift will break down
And the thing is, I don't even use it very often. Top floor apartment should finance this :)
Maybe you could put a little piggy-bank in the lift so that everytime someone uses it they can put a few franc in it, like people used to do with phones before?

Very creative! I have two friends here right now, but they used the stairs! You think they would mind?
