Trying to come up with a good poem for a wedding card. So far I googled:
"The woman cries before the wedding and the man after"
- Polish Proverb
"Marriage is a three ring circus: engagement ring, wedding ring, and suffering"
- Anonymous
"The secret of a happy marriage remains a secret"
- Henry Youngman
and as much as I would like to use one of those I think I'll have to choose:
"To keep your marriage brimming,
With love in the loving cup,
Whenever you're wrong admit it;
Whenever you're right shut up.
- Ogden Nash
