Was reading about a project called Mars one, intending to send people to Mars without any chance of coming back to Earth. I can immediately think of a few people I would like to see on that trip.
Funny thing, I think there are many people who would like to sign up for something like this. It'd be their 15 minutes of fame. Many people are so stupid, they wouldn't see the whole picture. But be my guest. Off you go.
I have never watched one episode of Big Brother, but I can imagine what it would be like, having read press about it. Spending your life in a bubble, with people you cannot get away from. And trust me, after enough intense time spent with anybody, you want outside influences, other people to talk to, music, art, not to mention if you get sick, you need doctors, you need cleaners, plumbers, cooks, carpenters, you name it.
And this is all in the name of commercial tv. Oh, I miss the time when JFK just said 'we are going to the moon before the end of this decade' in 1961. And they did. It was a peace project, and not anything to do with blonde barbies, and f...ing on television.
Sometimes it really was better in the old days.

Amen!! and gosh, don't get me started on this!!
This is what I miss about the old days? Good and stern education!!. Kids today are just ill behaved spoiled brats, who lack social skills towards others/their elders. Stephanie
Haha, let's hope they go to Mars!
A peace project? - I thought it was a competition and desire to get one up on the Russians.
Yes, that too!
