I keep my kitchen clean at all times, but nevertheless, it's always one of two banana flies, these little irritating insects, that keep on surviving. The other day one landed in my wine glass, and even though it would be extra protein for me, I decided to fish it out of the glass and put it on a napkin.
A nice death I thought, but to my surprise some fifteen minutes later it was flying away. Wobbly, mind you, but still. Maybe they are like cockroaches, cannot be killed?
