Bread
Had a weird idea that I would bake bread and googled some recipes. Ran into a problem immediately. Dark bread usually contains syrup, and I have no clue what that is in German. Dictionary says "sirup", but that's what is says on the bottle for fruit drink. And I've never seen syrup in the food shop. Not that I looked.
It got so complicated I gave up before I started. No stamina at all for the moment.

hmmm, what kind of syrup is this in your recipe? My guess is molasses which is apparently 'Melasse' in German. I'm sure the incredibly helpful staff in Zurich supermarkets (Ha ha ha) could help you find it.
Doesn't sound like you're in any kind of condition to knead bread though!
Isn't that what you give horses? Anyway, will sniff around in Coop today to see what I can find. And I still have my left arm intact.
