Boat time

First time on the boat this year! Fortunately the cover had held its fort, and there was no sign of any unwanted entries like birds and such.

Took me ten minutes to clean out the front (it's where sometimes water finds its way in and linger...hence a bit dirty), then I raced out on the lake. Well, raced and raced, it's hard to do with 8 horsepowers, but I got out there.

It's a fabulous feeling of freedom. Nobody to bother you, except for the ferries, other passenger ships, pedal boats, sailors and what-have-you. Today I didn't go that far, was just taking the boat for a spin (and yes hurray, engine started on the first try), but still. It is fab out there.
