I learned something new today. When my friend was cooking he used aluminium foil, and when he was done with it he put it in a box. He probably saw that I looked at him, and then explained that alu foil takes a lot of energy to produce and therefore should be deposited in a special place.
Turns out it's metal-like, and can be put in the metal-trash-bin found where the bottle bank containers are. Super! Alu foil takes up a lot of space in the Züri-bags we pay for to the get rid of trash, and if one can help the environment a bit I'm all for it.
Plus it needn't take up space in my Züri-bag. A win-win as we business people call it :).

ha ha ha 'turns out its metal-like', c'mon, you're not going to tell me you didnt know Aluminium was a metal surely?!

I can honestly say that I've never given it any thought. At all. And I certainly wasn't aware of that it can be deposited in the metal container. I know better now.
However, I did know that aluminium is a metal, but didn't realize that the foil was too I guess.
