My love of books

For those of you who know me you know I love to read. Books are my thing. As much as I hate shopping for clothes I love book-shops. I can browse forever, just walk around looking at books gives me a fuzzy feeling. Pick up a book, read a little, thinking no, moving on, reading a bit of another one, thinking yes I'm gonna buy. I can easily shop 20 books in one go. Might have to do with my childhood, where my family was the biggest customer of the local library. And I can re-read books, just because they give me a good feeling. Just like a good movie, I can watch it many times. Can you?

but don't you find it boring when you already know whats going to happen? there's only a very few books that I can read and reread, same goes with movies. They tend to be cheesy or funny ones that remind me of a time in my life or of particular people and I can read/watch them a million times - like Hitchhiker Guide to the Galaxy, Dirty Dancing or Grease (yes, sad i know). anyway there's so many great books out there to read I havent got to yet I dont have time to read them twice.

I would be a poor woman if I had to buy books at the speed I read. Besides, I don't have space for more books. And forget libraries...I don't read in German.

the Pestalozzi library right near your favourite hang out is full of books in English, I reckon they've also got a few in Swedish

This is funny...that place is spitting distance from where I live. I have passed it gazillions of times, and always thought it was an "alternative" place with odd opening hours. Like never when I'm home. Checked now, and you're right. They claim to have foreign books. Will check it out. If I'm ever home when they're open...
