Minergy

Turns out the smoke and food smell problem was the minergy standard in our house. When neighbours upstairs switch on their fan, they suck air out of my apartment. The simple solution is for them to open a window or a balcony door when they use the fan, that apparently breaks the airing system.

Same problem I have when using the fireplace, and at the same time the kitchen fan without an open window. Then smoke comes into the flat, instead of slowly seeping out the chimney. Weird system, but if you know the problem it can easily be solved just by opening a window.

But I will still try out the electronic cigs.
