Pizza virgin

Today I did a pizza for the first time. It wasn't perfect, but I have learned how to better it for next time. Make my own dough, skip the olive oil, add less cheese and top with the basil after it's been in the oven. Tasted fab though, and ironically it was cooked without salt :).

oh my goodness, that is a lot of cheese! I'm sure there was more than enough salt in the olives, meat and cheese. Don't doubt that it tasted great though. looks like perfect winter comfort food. Hmmm, maybe I should do pizza tonight.

No olives, fresh tomatoes, ham, mushroom, mozzarella and parmesan, chili and oregano. Yum!

you know my family owns a pizzeria right? I rolled pie for 2 years when I was 21 years old. What you made looks GREAT! Are you sure you're not part Italian? :)

I did not know that! Do you have a secret recipe for the dough? And no, definitely not Italian :), I'm a wannabe Swiss!
