Four shades of bikes

Ok, so I was blogging about the woman who visited me earlier today. Being nice, as you do meeting somebody the first time. But I did tell her that should she move in with me, I might not be so nice all the time.

Threatened to blog about her four bikes. Yes, she told me she has four. Bikes. I mean, who needs four bikes? Excuse me, that's ridiculous. A bike for me is a two-wheeler that takes you somewhere. For people who wants to take the difficult road, rather than use their legs or the excellent tram/bus/boat/train-system that Zürich offers.

But I guess to challenge me, she sends me a email explaining the four bikes: "Road bike (porsche), mountain bike (suv) touring bike (van) and city bike (smart)".

Exactly! Your guess is as good as mine.

ha ha, I love that she tries to use a car analogy to explain it to you, did she miss that you also don't have a car. Maybe she should have said road bike (bus), mountain bike (cog wheel), touring bike (train) city bike (tram).
Strangely I know quite a few people with four (or more!) bikes, each one costly at least a grand. One of them has one hanging on the wall in the living room like art (maybe one for your place? ;)).
I don't get it either.

Under no circumstances will there ever be a bicycle hanging on my walls!
