I cannot believe that the English still haven't understood the advantage of having one tap in the bathroom to regulate temperature. They still persist with one for cold water and one for warm. So either you get frostbite or burn yourself.Reminds me of the first time I was in England, in Brighton to be exact. Not that it matters for the story. Stepped into the bathtub to have a shower and wash my hair. Was looking around for the shower in vain. Nope, only two taps so had to lie on the bottom of the tub trying to alternate sticking my head under first the hot and then the cold tap. Had a sore head for days after.

dont they have baths in Sweden? as much as I agree the lack of showers and single taps in the UK is totally wierd and backward your idea of how to take a bath is hilarious. he he
Yes, but since I wasn't born in the 50's I didn't know how to handle two taps. Still don't, because if you pour cold and warm water into the tub and you want to rinse your hair all the shampoo remains in the water. Hence no clean water to rinse with.
I'm a little behind...I just read this...that is really funny..I laughed out loud at the image of you on your back in the tub..moving your head between the taps...CLASSIC!!!
