Christmas in Bulgaria?

Spoke to Bro today. He suggested that we celebrate Christmas in Bulgaria. As predicted my first answer was a big NO. Especially when I was told that I had to fly thru Budapest. When I spent 5 miserable months there I swore never to come back. But I did a Sam Seaborn in my head, all by myself. And it makes me crazy to know that Bro knows me better than I do myself. My reasoning went from naaaw weeey to I've never been to Bulgaria, to the girlsfriends parents want me to be there, want to know me before the wedding when we inevitably will be joined forever, to what else do I do, to they've got a nice house at the Black Sea, to I'm running out of reasons. Gad, why couldn't he have met a nice Swiss girl?

'Christmas in Bulgaria'

all sound like good reasons to go, what have you got to lose - except maybe a bit of sanity, but who needs that (here I'm assuming that everyone's family make people nuts as the ones I know do)

Haven't met these people yet, so dunno if they'll make me crazy. But I'm not done with reasoning with myself yet...final decision later.

GO! It's not like your going to Bulgaria on a vacation..you'll be there with people who live there and know it..just like I do when I come to Switzerland. So..you'll probably enjoy it more spending it with native Bulgarians! plust its Christmas..so you all have that in common! Go..meet the family! I'd go if I could!
