Some things never change?

Like this evening. Friend was late. Every time we have ever met he's been late. Did that teach me to also be late? Hell no. I am compulsively early. Never mind. We hooked up. 18 min later than agreed. But this guy has changed. Reminded me of Holland. When I bought a bike at four in the morning from this guy who was breahting heavily. I didn't realize at the time, but the bike was most probably stolen (doooh!). That's when my English friend who was visiting at the time said: "gosh, have you changed!". That's the feeling I had today about this friend. He used to be trashed every time I saw him and all of a sudden he's behaving responsibly. What is the world coming to?
