Guess with my new regime starting Monday I have to wave goodbye to Ricola. For a while.

Bye-bye Ricola
Without sugar it says on the packet. That's fine, I don't need a sugar-boost, I just like Ricola. Only today being bored on the bus I actually looked at the packet. 237 calories! Oh dear. No sugar, no fat, but lotsa carbohydrates. 96g to be exact. Only it doesn't say whether it's per 100 g, per tablet, per what what what???

"Bye-Bye Ricola"
There is a way you still can eat your loved Ricola. (o.k. may be not that many as today)
Drinking water (not sparkling) means you don't take any calories AND you even spend them!
According to studies of the Charité Berlin you spend 50 calories, when you drinking 2 glasses of water. (2 glasses = 0,5 lier, tap water, room temperature)
Well, take the calculator and see how many Ricolas you can eat :-))
Ze German
It says on the packet, that it's 237 calories per 100 g. The packet contains 50 g. So it's already just 116 cl per packet. Now all you have to do is your math's on the account of the pieces and it doesn't look so bad anymore ...
Why can't it be sparkling water? That's much nicer. And does it have to be room temperature?
So a few Ricolas per day won't hurt, right?
Your diet blog items seems to be getting the comments flowing. What does that tell you?
Either that people agree with me that I should lose some weight, or that people identify with the challenge of dieting...possibly a little bit of both :)
