95
Spoke to my 95-year old friend today. He is still remarkably fit, but has developed a bit of a health problem with his legs so he now walks with a cool stick. Still drives his car though, which I'm not too happy with. "So you put the stick in the back seat when you drive?". He just laughed, and I suppose so he should. It's none of my business.
Among other things we talked about property prices. He bought his flat in 1954 for the equivalent of CHF 145. Which was a lot of money for him at that time. He needed two people to sign for the loan. It also means that he has been living in the same apartment for 53 years. Somewhat of a record?
Look forward to see him in the summer.
