Incident

It is never a good idea to put oil in a pan, switch on the stove and leave the kitchen. As flatmate found out yesterday. I was sitting peacefully in the living room when I suddenly saw flames from the kitchen. V. scary.

Turned out he had left a paper cover (to prevent staining from the pan) on the pan, which caught fire. Yes, paper tends to burn...

I have been assured it won't happen again.
