Hausfrau

My visitor today included a real hausfrau. He's much better than I ever will be in the domestic department. Have a silver cake knife that was in much need of cleaning, and today I learned a new method. Put aluminium foil in the bottom of a bowl, place the silver item in need of cleaning on it, add salt and boiling water and voila you have a chemical process that will clean your item. Only mine had not been cleaned in the last 25 years or so, so it'll need some extra polishing. But I saw the result clearly. Wow!
