Finally went to Sihl city. This new and supposedly hip mall that opened a couple of months ago here in Zürich.And since my personal shopper seems to have gone walk-about, I did the next best thing. Brought a gay guy with me to shop. Ok, so a bit of a disappointment since I am a really REALLY bad shopper, always looking for the nearest cafe or bar. He took a glance, then went on "I'm gonna look for sneakers". Me: "I don't need sneakers". "No", he said, "for me". Hmmm.
Well, I did buy one pair of boots. Pretty cool, huh?

to me 'hip' and 'shopping mall' are contradictions in terms ,they're always such depressing places. what a shame Zurich seems to be getting nmore keen on them.
But I must say that this particular mall was quite tastefully built. I liked the design. And the fact that it wasn't crowded.
