An almost one-legged friend

I have a friend who had an operation on his leg. I thought this was like my shoulder op, and while recovery may take a while, I didn't think any complications would occur. It did.

He went to the doctor last minute, a day later they would've talked amputation. Yet, he's in a good mood and was mostly worried that he recently paid for a pair of shoes when he might only need one.

A good sense of humour cures any disease is my belief. Getter better soon!
