Friendship

Friendship is difficult. So is relationships, or so I've heard. I've given up a long time ago, since compromizing is not my thing.

A few days ago I went thru my phone book, and found a name I hadn't heard from for more than a year. Sent a text saying similar to "I'm gonna delete your name unless I hear back from you, take care". Got an answer saying "well, I haven't heard from you either, hug". The thing was that this woman asked me for a break, and I gave her that. Then in a year not hearing back, I decided to delete her.

On Friday evening after the dinner we decided to go out (well, perhaps I suggested mildly that it would be a good idea), so we did. And who do I run into if not this woman! Small world.

So now we have a dinner date in a couple of weeks, in order to try and repair the friendship that just fizzled into nothing. It'll be interesting to see if it works.

And another thing. Bro just called. Another relationship to repair. When is he gonna learn that his big sister is always right?
