Dogsitting

Today I'm dogsitting for several reasons. First of all, it's nice to have some company when going for a walk. Second, the dog needs to be trained to be with others than the owner. Third, I wanted to see how my cats get along with the dog when the owner is not around.

This is a dog I know since quite some time, but I wasn't sure how it'd work out. Now we've been for a walk in the forest, and it wasn't a problem at all. I let her lose, and she stayed with me the whole time. My cats have come out from their hiding quarters, and even though dog and cats keep a respectful distance, they are not afraid of each other.
