Friends

I was having an acquaintance/friend over for lunch today. We are not in constant contact, but have over the years become more than acquaintances. And I was thinking after our date today, that he is one of these people that makes me feel good.

He's polite, nice and serious but with a latent sense of humour (Swiss-style). And we always have interesting discussions. He works with something that is close to my heart. That's how we know each other in the first place.

And luckily I am now old enough to be able to choose my friends, and do it diligently. He's definitely one to stay in my life. Of course together with all the other ones that have already passed Annika's needle eye ;).
