Plague

Got asked an unusual question today. Which country would you move to, having these three choices. France, England or Germany? This to me reads plague, cholera or smallpox. Had to think hard, but in the end chose Germany. The question was asked from a working perspective. In Germany you can never be fired, unions in bed with politicians, meaning a static work market. For the employee it's gold. Work, and then cash in when they want to get rid of you (or you of them for that matter). Only unemployment rate is 11,7% (give or take, est 2005), and population 82+M. That's a heck of a lot of Germans! And guess what? They all speak German :) But compared to France and England...I take Germany any day. And it's close to Switzerland :)

"Plague"

some more info about your "preferered" country:

Forecast for 2050: approx 69 to 74 M people - I'm not sure whether all of them will speak German:-))

And: big companies only will pay you to get rid of you !

Ze German

ewww, Germany! I'd take France or even England over Germany anytime. and dont forget you have to pay about half your salary in tax in Germany. at least the Bristich have a sense of humor and the French hve great food.

No, I'll stick to Germany having these choices.
