May we never forget
Am going to allow myself to be a bit serious for a while. Just watched a program on Italian tv (La fuga degli angeli...not entirely sure what this means...Italians welcome to comment).
It was about children up to 17 years of age, being sent from Central Europe to England during the years 1938-1939 (Kindertransport).
These children had survived (well, obviously, since they were interviewed) and were telling their stories. How to be separated from your parents at an early age. How to be placed in foster homes. How to realize after the war that their parents were never coming back, or in some fortunate cases being reunited with their parents. And the difficulties being so after not having seen them for 5 years.
May we never ever forget this. And yet people are fighting all over the world. Listen up, war = NO GOOD!
