Hidden agendas
Great thing about partying with scientists (and no, they don't drink much, but all the more for me!) is that one of them turned out to be a vet! Excellent. She will look for kittens for me. I feel this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
Also, a comment this afternoon (sitting out in the sun): "ze Swiss are the better Germans". Said by a German. Double whoops. Not only was it funny, but it showed a German with a sense of humour!

Didn't drink much? sounds like a party with the wrong kind of scientists - you need the geologists, engineers and geographers
Well, the party was between noon and 5 pm, not that it stopped me from drinking.
