Grüezi

Sometimes ze Swiss are really endearing. Like when you walk and pass somebody on the street they say "Grüezi" for no particular reason than being nice. I like this very much. I come from a society where NOBODY would do that. It would be regarded as peculiar and they'd probably think you were a potential rapist/murderer/mental pick-your-choice. It happened to me today when I was walking to Coop. And it was particularly nice since it was a cop in full uniform. Naked or in plain clothes this guy would not be my type, but in uniform...mmm :) PS. Not sure what a cop would do in my neighbourhood alone, they always come in pair don't they?
