Reality imitating fiction

It's funny. In one of the episodes of West Wing Josh receives a dead fish. Today "Rahmbo" resigned his job as chief of staff to the president of the United States. As a leaving present he got a dead fish, hinting to the Godfather movie. And perhaps also to the eco problem in Chicago, where he's now running for the position of mayor. In West Wing they ended up with a new president who was Hispanic. In reality the US got a black president. That's about the same astonishment. I tell you. The respect I have for Aaron Sorkin has no bounders. He may be an asshole irl, but he certainly got a brain. How can anybody write a story like in the West Wing? I am speechless.
