Now I have learned my lesson re open fireplace. Had a bit of a mishap yesterday, something with the air shaft not being open or something, resulting in a slight discolouring of the walls. Hmm. And I did it all by myself.
Good thing the construction guy owes me one after not fixing my telephone line. So apart from that I had to endure his laugh on the phone, he's now sending around a painter to fix it. Good guy.

oh dear! wouldnt want to see your version of major discolouring, if this is slight. hope paint repair goes well
