Can see from the hits on the blog that some of you are eagerly waiting for updates from Bulgaria :).
Ok, here goes.
The infrastructure is...how can I put it...not there. Ok, so there are roads but not very good ones. Less commonly used streets and roads are simply not maintained and have lots of holes in them. It's a bumpy ride in Bulgaria.
Similarly houses are a strange mix of mostly very ill-maintained ditto and some new ones.
I was lucky since we stayed with Bro's gf's family, and they are well off, at least with Bulgarian standard. And the water only disappeared once!
