I am so ambivalent. I checked the measurements for my new sofa, and decided for the 2-seater + the "recamieren" which is the sorta corner long side of the sofa. But I cannot decide which side the rec-something goes on.
Left side, then I more or less permanently block off the balcony doors there. But since I've never used them in 3,5 years, perhaps not such a bad thing. Plus it gives a rounding corner to a real corner.
Right side, then I would mark the tv/fireplace area off, and give it more of a separate room feeling.
Today, I'm leaning towards the left. Which is a first for me!

ha! i think you're more left than you think you are.
I didnt even know you had another balcony door?! but (if I understand your description correctly) I'd lean more left too (no surprises there from me). I like the idea of keep the living area open rather than a 'separate room' feeling
