Today I got an email that surprised me. I did indeed recognize the name, but thought at first it was a virus.
Turned out to be my former flatmate, who disappeared into nowhere some 4 years ago and was never heard of again.
He somehow had thought about me, looked up my blog and sent me an update. Nice. Especially nice to hear he had pulled himself up by the bootstraps, and got his life together.
Would be nice if he came to visit.

I thought you were going to say he was offering to become your flatmate again since he read you were looking. Always good to know people are doing better.
