The other day I realized that I hadn't updated my "Schiffsausweis", my boat certificate, to reflect my new address. So googled it, and couldn't find the correct form to fill in. Surprising, since ze Swiss are sticklers for formalities.
When I emailed to ask how to go about it, I got a very prompt answer to say, "just send it in, state your new address, and give us a few days warning". Hmmm. Sent it in, but "forgot" to mention it was 10 months since I moved.
And today I got it! Still a paper certificate though. Ze Swiss are bit slow in adapting the plastic credit card look, but hey who cares?
