Clean

My cleaning lady had to cancel due to a private tragedy, which is perfectly understandable. I am just impressed that she had the wits to call me and tell me about it. But there you go, she's like me. A commitment is a commitment, and if you cannot deliver you inform.

But it left me with a dirty apartment, and so I had to act. This morning I was up at the crack of dawn (well, depends on when you think dawn is), grabbing the hoover, the mop, the dusting thingie and whatsit. I even cleaned the toilets!

I feel very proud of myself, and have a sense of accomplishment. I can do it!

But it was exhausting, I have to admit that. And I'm glad I am not a professional cleaner.
