Was at a friends place for dinner tonight, and upon leaving he asked if I had seen the Christmas decoration he had on his door. I had not, due to the fact that the door was open when I arrived.
Took one look at it, and mumbled to myself "this thing would never be seen on my door". He demanded I repeated it, so I did, and then I heard a mumbling from his side "I hope you miss your bus".
And I did. Had to wait a whopping 9 minutes in the freezing cold before the next bus arrived. That should teach me!
