No cats yet

The search is still on, but no luck yet. It was funny, I mentioned to my cousin that I plan to get some kittens. He was appalled since he's allergic saying "that means I can never come visit again!".

Told him that I considered that but since he has only been in Switzerland once in 8 years, I decided to ignore it.

as a cat owner for the last 12 years..my unsolicited advice is: no more than 2 cats..they keep eachother company..that's good. more than 2 it becomes massive upkeep with the litter box. Get short hair cats and get them already with front claws removed if you can. Otherwise you need to clip the nails every 2 weeks or so..and they will still destroy your furniture eventually. Not good to get one..and then have it declawed..it can change their personality..make them bite more. As long as they are always going to be indoors..ok to get cats without claws. good luck..post pictures!

Yes, two. That's what I want, so that they can keep each other company when I'm not home.

Short haired "farmer cats" is what I'm looking for. No special breeds with funny psyches.

No clipping nails though. I bought a "cat tree" where they can sharpen their claws. If they destroy the furniture, well, I'll live with it. I want them natural.

And they will have access to my balcony. I did consider letting them out, but what with the busy road outside and large foxes, I might not in the end.

But be careful what you wish for. I'm gonna post so many pics you'll get tired of them! My whole life will circle around those kittens ;).
