Not straight

This was bothering me in the room. I tried to get the paintings to hang straight, but they seemed to be glued (perhaps they used the body lotion?) to the wall.

how odd! To be honest, every time I've stayed in a hotel in the UK I've found something odd about them

UK is odd in itself. Even the taxi driver admitted that they like to be backwards (like using the £, not the metric system and driving on the wrong side...).

the opposite of right isn't always wrong

no, I mean there's nothing wrong with left

I know that's what you meant, but it is wrong with left. At least when it comes to driving...

ah, you're just bitter because you Swedes were forced to conform to the nonsense of right-hand side of the road driving bullies. The fact that the Americans do it suggests it really cant possible be that sensible

Haha. Sweden "conformed" in the late 60's. No American influence back then. But it's handy since the rest of Europe also drive on the right side. With the exception of Britain then...
